I heard a lecture with chen on last Wensday. It talked about religions.
Later parts is my notes of lecture. I don't know this is right or not beause I don't have any background information about it. And also, all of this information was presented by the professor of Mcgill.
The lecture talked about that all religions are the same, they have the same god. From 1962 to 1965, many churches began to recognize this idea. They believed there were some relationships. However, it was against Roman's laws. Now, religions are changing. They are not under pressure. Religions change like English, which changes very slowly. A book mentions that all the religions should forget past, process and work together. It is human responsibility and justice because the god is same and he creates people for cooperation. He creates us for peace. Working together helps social development. Religions should cooperate and assist. Muslim and Islam should work together.
Muslim should be protected. There are many debates between two religions. Actually, people should learn Muslim. People should protect Muslim in society. Now there are some countries already protecting it, such as the U.S, which many churches welcome other religion's people. Canada allows more people to immigrate to there.
Somebody thought west religions would disappear. However, after few years, he changed his opinion. Religions are very complex. What we need to do is to understand these religions. We should have understood what they say and what they are going to do.
After Professor presented the lecture, people could ask questions. One old woman asked who attack Muslim and make violence. However, the professor didn't answer the question. He just presented some historical information about Muslim and spreading his ideas which were presented before. Another women tried to help the professor. She mentioned Concordia University. She said Concordia had many international and immigration students. It was wonderful to think how good Concordia did it for different countries’ students. It had a big responsibility. The violence was just in small parts. But the old woman was not satisfaction. She thought her question still didn’t be solved.
I got the information from the difficult lecture. I am so happy. It is totally not easy.

Reflaction on Research paper
I finally finished my research paper. Oh my god! I haven't studied hard like this for a long time. In past the two weeks, so many articles have to be read until 2 or 3 clock so that my schedule can be finished. I am so happy I can finish. During this time, I found a very interesting thing about myself. Before, I always thought I wasn't a good student. The internet information and other things always interrupted me while studying. I couldnot concentrate on one thing for long time. If there were some things show up during my studying, I would be interrupted by that. But after the research paper, I found this was my behavior. It was my characteristic. While I was doing research paper, many things interrupt me, but I still finished my schedule in everyday. I also thought my research paper was great. I knew I did my best.
Now, I also know how to write a research paper and reference. It is not easy because there are many roles which need to be followed. I know how to find valuable information from 1000 pages books. The most important thing I know is how hard A2 is. Everyday, I just slept for 5 hours. Sometimes, in order to finish my schedule, I couldnot sleep at whole night. Those days are so ungorgettable. This is a permanent experience.
Good Job! Julian
